Coming soon. Suggested practice is being tested and is not on your account yet. This page describes how it will work when it arrives.

What it does

Instead of picking a subject and a topic, your child chooses how many questions they want and taps ✨ Suggest. The app builds the quiz for them, weighted towards the things they most need to practise.

It is one button and one decision. That is the whole point — the moment before practice is where most sessions are lost, and "which topic today?" is a surprisingly good way to lose one.

Where to find it

On the quiz setup screen, alongside the normal topic picker. Choosing topics by hand still works exactly as it does now; this sits next to it as a quicker option.

What your child is told

Nothing about why those questions were chosen. They pick a number, they get a quiz.

This is deliberate. A child told that fractions are their weakness is a child who starts avoiding fractions. The mix quietly leans towards the areas that need work, and your child simply practises.

Where you see the reasoning

In the Parent Area, as you do now. Weak areas, the topic breakdown and the trends are unchanged, and they remain the place to find out what your child is actually finding hard.

So the picture is: the detail stays with you, and your child gets a quiz that acts on it without being told they are behind.

How it fits with work you assign

It does not replace assigning work. Assignments are still the way to insist on something specific — a topic before a school test, or the thing you agreed to focus on this week.

Think of suggested practice as the default for the days when nobody has the energy to decide. Between the two, the honest advice is that a child who practises most days using the suggestion will get further than one who practises twice a week on perfectly chosen topics.

Does it count?

Yes. Suggested quizzes are normal quizzes — they score the same, earn points and badges the same, count towards streaks, and appear in your child's history and your analytics like any other.
