TransferNI — Refund Policy
1. In short
- Every plan is a single one-off payment. Nothing renews, so there is no recurring charge to
stop and nothing to cancel.
- You have 14 days from purchase to change your mind and get a full refund, for any reason
or none.
- After 14 days we will still consider a request. We look at each one on its own facts.
- If something has gone wrong at our end, we will put it right whether or not any time limit
has passed.
Email support@transferni.com and tell us what happened. That is the whole process.
2. Your 14-day right to cancel
2.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may cancel a purchase made at a distance within 14 days and receive a full refund. You do not have to give a reason, and you do not lose the right by having used the Service in the meantime.
2.2 To cancel, email support@transferni.com from the address on your account, within 14 days of paying. A clear statement that you want to cancel is enough.
2.3 We will refund you within 14 days of accepting your cancellation, to the card you paid with. We do not charge a fee for cancelling.
3. After the 14 days
3.1 We are not obliged to refund outside the 14-day window, but we would rather resolve a problem than stand on a technicality. Tell us what happened and we will look at it on its own merits. Things we routinely put right include:
- being charged twice, or charged the wrong amount;
- buying the wrong plan, or buying twice by mistake;
- being unable to use a meaningful part of what you paid for;
- a child no longer needing the Service because of illness, bereavement or a change of
circumstances.
3.2 Where we agree a partial refund, we normally work it out on the access you have left rather than the access you have used.
3.3 We may decline where a request is plainly outside anything reasonable — for example a refund sought at the very end of a season that has been used throughout. We will tell you why.
4. If something is faulty or not as described
4.1 Separately from anything above, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights where digital content is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality. You may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, or a price reduction.
4.2 Nothing in this policy limits those rights, and no time limit here applies to them.
5. Free trials, promotional codes and referrals
5.1 The 15-day free trial costs nothing and takes no card details, so there is nothing to refund. It does not turn into a paid plan; nothing is charged when it ends.
5.2 Access granted by a promotional or referral code was not paid for and is not refundable in money. If a code failed to apply and you paid full price as a result, contact us — that is a mistake to fix, and §3 covers it.
6. How long a refund takes
Once agreed, we issue the refund immediately to the card used for the payment. How quickly it appears is then a matter for your bank or card issuer — typically a few working days, sometimes longer. If it has not arrived within ten working days of us confirming it, tell us and we will chase it.
